In the last few years, the attorneys of Martinez Law Group, P.C. have brought and defended significant individual and class cases on behalf of both publicly-traded companies and consumers.  The firm’s attorneys have obtained multi-million dollar affirmative recoveries for their corporate clients, and have obtained in excess of $10 million dollars in class and individual settlements in the last year alone.  A few recent cases involving the firm’s attorneys are:

  • Represented a class of consumers who paid a company for a service that was already provided for free from the Internal Revenue Service, obtaining a settlement fund of $900,000.
  • Representing corporate clients seeking non-class recoveries from Visa, MasterCard and their member banks based on alleged anticompetitive conduct in the payment card industry. The related class litigation, In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Antitrust Litigation, MDL No. 1720, is pending in the Eastern District of New York.
  • Representing several non-profit organizations and individuals in cases involving inaccessable technology, including point of sale devices and websites.  The firm’s attorneys have favorably negotiated and resolved numerous cases on behalf of it’s non=profit clients, and are currently litigating select matters throughout the country to enable blind individuals to have equal access to important technological advances.
  • Representing a proposed class of consumers in a multi-district class action seeking recovery for the alleged price-fixing of gypsum drywall by U.S. gypsum manufacturers and distributors.  The class action litigation, In re Domestic Drywall Antitrust Litigation, MDL No. 2437, is pending in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
